Join us for a conversation with Dolores Huerta, one of the most influential civil rights activists of our time. This intimate dinner is a rare opportunity to meet the iconic Dolores Huerta in a small venue.
With live music and the fresh farm-to-table Mexican cuisine of Luna’s Mexican Kitchen, we will honor, get inspired and celebrate a life full of courage and community empowerment!
Dolores Huerta is one of the most influential labor activists of the 20th century. Her lifelong work as a civil rights activist and community organizer has included co-founding the United Farm Workers Association with Cesar Chavez, leading the Chicano civil rights movement and championing women’s rights. She is the founder and president of the Dolores Huerta Foundation.
All proceeds will benefit Valley Verde.
Your contributions will support Valley Verde to create home vegetable gardens with hundreds of low-income families in Santa Clara County.
Food will be provided by Luna Mexican Kitchen proudly uses ingredients that have been nurtured with care, all the way from the farms to our kitchen. With tortillas pressed by hand from organic, non-GMO corn, entrees made with free-range organic chicken, and local heirloom beans; you will feel like you’re dining at your abuela’s table!
