Public · Hosted by H.O.M.E.Y.
November 17th at 12 PM – 4 PM
2221 Mission Street, San Francisco, California 94103.
The Justice 4 Amilcar mural is the largest mural to be painted in the Latino Cultural Corridor in a decade.
It is dedicated to Amilcar Perez Lopez who was shot by officers from the San Francisco Police Department on February 26, 2015.
Despite the subsequent failure of our legal system to hold the officers accountable for his murder the #justice4amilcar coaltion called for a mural to honor our young Guatemalan brother.
His family in Guatemala and this community refuses to forget him and the many other victims of police and boarder violence. We dedicate this mural in their honor.
