Chile Lindo celebrated 25 years with live music, fundraising, and lots of empanadas!
Feb 16th at 7 PM – 1 AM

¡ La Fiesta !
The program opens with Mauro Ffortísimo—founder of everybody’s favorite summer event, Flower Piano—performing Astor Piazolla’s, “Libertango.”
Next it’s on to Rock en Español, Chilean folk classics, and a few songs from the days long gone, performed by some of Chile’s top Bay Area musicians. Thank you Axel Herrera (composer, arranger, percussionist) for leading the band that will feature Mauricio Bertín (entertainer and founder of Skyline Productions) on guitar and vocals, and composer Elisa Durán on bass. ¡Muchas Gracias!
And of course, all local jazz musicians are welcome to sit in as we top things off with an Open Jam Session hosted by Rick Brown on trombone, Carl Herder on bass, Sharman Duran on piano and Axel Herrera on drums.
