50.5 million Latinos live in the USA.

Summary:

* More than 6 in 10 Latinos in the U.S. self-identify as Mexican.

* 9 of other 10 largest Hispanic origin groups [Puerto Rican, Cuban, Salvadoran, Dominican, Guatemalan, Colombian, Honduran, Ecuadorian and Peruvian] account for about a 1/3rd of the U.S. Latino population.

* See complete information below.

Hispanics are the largest and youngest minority group in the United States.

One- in-five schoolchildren is Hispanic. One-in-four newborns is Hispanic. Never before in this country's history has a minority ethnic group made up so large a share of the youngest Americans. By force of numbers alone, the kinds of adults these young Latinos become will help shape the kind of society America becomes in the 21century.

Here's how we compare with other Races in the USA.

This is a realistic look of our lives.

Latinos are the largest minority group in USA. Our culture is beautiful, and we represent 16.8% of its population = 51.5 million people. It's easy to see these numbers are impressive.

However, did you know statistics of Latinos are the lowest?
