On Pride Saturday, June 23, 2012, the Main Stage brings the best of local musical talent and cultural performances to the heart of San Francisco's Civic Center Plaza. Spread out on the Plaza and take in the sounds and sights of these great acts.

On Pride Sunday, June 24, 2012, SF Pride offers exciting, up-and-coming cutting-edge talent, world-renowned performers, and the best of local entertainment from the Bay Area.

2012 marks the 42nd anniversary of the San Francisco Pride Celebration and Parade. The theme is "Global Equality" and the event will be held over the weekend of June 23 and 24, 2012. With over 200 parade contingents, 300 exhibitors, and more than twenty community-run stages and venues, the San Francisco Pride Celebration and Parade is the largest gathering of LGBT people and allies in the nation.

The two-day celebration takes place in Civic Center Plaza in downtown San Francisco the last full weekend of June each year. The Parade, which takes place the Sunday morning of the event, kicks off from Beale Street along Market and ends at Market and 8th St. in the heart of downtown San Francisco.

SF Pride Main Stage has been host to Sandra Bernhard, Kerli, The Backstreet Boys, Lady Gaga, BoA, Fey, The Cliks, Kat Deluna, Inaya Day, Crystal Waters, Me'shell Ndegeocello, leaders from the frontlines of the same-sex marriage fight, and many others.
