Join us for the first Dia de Los Muertos community celebration in Glen Park on Sunday, November 1st (6pm to 10pm), an event hosted by Miel, a pop up at 677 Chenery St. and curated by Mia Gonzalez.
Experience the altar installations on display, the fashionista live-altar presentation, and live music in celebration of life, death, love, and tradition featuring the work of 15 Bay Area artists.
Join us for the procession which evokes memories of deceased loved ones with colorful pageantry preceeded by a ceremonial cleansing and blessing. You’re encouraged to add to the festivities by coming in your lovely “muerto” affair.
You are invited to bring photos, messages, or momentos of loved ones who have passed to add to the Community Altar and showcase the special place they held in your life.
Bring family and friends to spend an eventful evening of traditional and cultural delights in an intimate setting.
