CULTURE AND COCKTAILS: A TOAST TO MEXICAN INDEPENDENCE DAY

Join The Mexican Museum on Friday, September 16 as we celebrate Mexican Independence Day and kick-off Hispanic Heritage Month.

Enjoy free drinks and light appetizers while enjoying all the art and culture The Mexican Museum has to offer.

Sip on a cocktail while mingling with friends and enjoying the contemporary art on display in our galleries! What better way to celebrate “El Grito” than to view and discuss Latino art that raises critical questions about ethnicity, identity, art and politics? It’s also a perfect stop for refreshments before or after you check out the vendors at Off the Grid in Fort Mason (5-10pm).

The celebration is from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. at the Mexican Museum, located at the Fort Mason Center, Building D, Marina Boulevard and Buchanan Street, in San Francisco.
