Mission Cultural Center for Latino Arts
2868 Mission St, San Francisco, California 94110
Exhibition runs through nov 25 on the Third floor.
MCCLA’s Arts Education and Outreach Department is proud to present the work of Juan Serrano, a cultural worker, artisan, and teaching artist.
Serrano will exhibit his own artwork, jewelry created from natural elements. Participants are invited to experience his work and see what prospective students will be creating during the month of November.
Juan’s art is influenced by sacred and ancestral knowledge, practiced through Aztec Danza. He is interested in breathing new life to natural elements from feathers, leather, stones, and quartz to repurpose them for others to wear and help guide them through their own journey.
Join the visual art workshop for a chance to exhibit in December.
