Want to know the truth about how COVID-19 is impacting farmworkers, undocumented families, and our grassroots leaders?
Tune in on Tuesday at 12pm!
Our grassroots Latino leaders are the heart and soul of our organization and our communities.
Many of them are on the frontlines right now. They are delivering food to the most vulnerable, helping people apply for unemployment, sharing bilingual resources, providing laptops/hotspots to families and advocating for our undocumented farmworkers and their safety. This is the time for us to support and lift up their leadership- with love, resources, and unrestricted funds.
We invite you to join us next Tuesday, April 7th at 12pm to our Direct Line to the Frontlines Facebook Live event to hear directly from these heroes and find out how we can support their efforts during this unprecedented crisis. Please save this event on your calendars!
You will hear from:
- Maricela Gutierrez, Executive Director, SIREN
- Armando Valdez, Executive Director, CCAT
- Sammy Nunez, Executive Director, Fathers & Families of San Joaquin
- Luz Gallegos, Executive Director, TODEC Legal Center
Let’s take this moment to remind our grassroots leaders that they are seen, heard and valued. That our Latino families and essential workers are not invisible to us. That our world and community will heal and re-imagine what our collective future holds. And that we are grounded in love, not fear.
With immense gratitude,
Masha Chernyak + your LCF family
