Monarch : The Metamorphosis of Art

Change is important, movement is necessary and survival is an instinct. Just like a caterpillar’s metamorphosis to become a butterfly, it’s migration and adaptation, is also the same way that art transforms and mixes without forgetting its roots and influences.

The sensibility of some artists does not belong to any one place or time. Global changes affect human emotions, and this makes them want to create expression beyond borders, the language of their art speaks to the minds and these language always look for the answers that are going to make them feel content and at peace. The problems are not personal anymore. They are the world’s problem where art plays an important role, where art breaks rules and it critiques the most devastating human acts. Art is and it will always be one of the oldest tools for communication a way we can relate to each other, today art transforms us so that we are reminded to never forget our humanity because we live in some of the most horrific and chaotic times of our human race.

This exposition includes many different artists, and through their art are able to express ideas about those topics that are relevant to them, inside of their own local context on a global scale to the rest of the world that affect the human race directly and indirectly.

The exhibition presents different techniques that show the different exhibiting artists capacity and versatility to be able to interpret their vision through the language of their art.
