We look forward to celebrating the magic of the holidays with you!
‘Twas the weeks before Christmas, and all through the Bay,
Five professional orgs came together, to celebrate the holidays.
The bottles were corked in the wine racks with care,
Ready for wine lovers and social people everywhere.
The people came from afar, up and down the 101,
To develop their networks and exchange gifts for fun.
We laughed over glasses of pinot and red blends,
What a splendid way to make some new friends!
From the inside of Google, there arose such a clatter,
We went to the dance floor to see what was the matter.
Upon hearing some cumbias, we flew in a flash,
Cuz we’ve got that good rhythm, and we dance with panache.
And then, in a twinkling, we heard on the roof,
The popping of champagne, by a little reindeer hoof.
As we pulled out a glass in the hopes of a taste,
Down the chimney St. Nick came with the bubbly post-haste.
A cool nod of his head, and an all-knowing wink,
Soon gave us to know there’d be plenty to drink!
He was cheery and plucky, greeting everyone in sight,
With his fancy business cards that were just so darn bright.
Then laying his finger aside of his nose,
With a bottle in hand, up the chimney he rose.
He sprang to his sleigh, with that bottle and a whistle,
Popping the cork, which flew out like a guided missile.
Then we heard him exclaim, as he drove out of sight—
“Happy Holidays to all, and to all a great night!”
