Two Miles East – A Summer Garden Event Series | August through September, 2016

All of these vibrant and cultural offerings will be hosted by the School of Arts and Culture @ The Mexican Heritage Plaza’s beautiful gardens. Join us for this unique series! A dream team of both artists and presenters bringing you their summertime events in this world-class venue!

Theatre in the Round | A Kind of a Sad Love Story | Friday, September 30th

School of Arts & Culture Gardens @ MHP  | 6:30PM to 8pm with Dinner | 8pm Show Only

After 7 years of having what seemed to be the perfect relationship Emily left Andrew. Andrew wasn’t sure why Emily did it. Emily wasn’t quite sure either. All she knew was that it needed to happen. As Andrew frantically works to find a way to fix his relationship, Emily tries to figure out why it was that she left him in the first place. A Kind of a Sad Love Story is the bittersweet story of a stagnant relationship between two twenty somethings who, in order to move on with their lives, must first break each other’s heart. A script in hand staged performance with the actors and action happening all around the audience in the beautiful garden setting. Writer & Director – Jefferey Lo
