Celebrate our shared immigrant experiences during Immigrant Heritage Month in June with the I Am An Immigrant Pop-Up event in San Francisco!

JOIN US AT OUR SAN FRANCISCO POP-UP!

At this Pop-Up, we are asking everyone to take action in support of immigrants in San Francisco, share stories of the crucial ways that diverse communities enrich our society, and join a growing coalition across the country to loudly proclaim that #IStandWithImmigrants.

Join local organizations and artists in different programs for allies and the immigrant community, including a Know Your Rights Training, film screening, and a Panel with immigrant leaders in the tech community. Special thanks to the San Francisco Office of Civic Engagement and Immigrant Affairs for being an official partner!

Undocumented and Unafraid: Solidarity in Action

Faith in Action Bay Area will train allies and community members on how to join the San Francisco Rapid Response network, how to accompany a community or family member to an ICE check in, and speak more broadly about solidarity.

Immigrant Heritage Month Mixer

Come by and explore the pop up shop, immigrant art work, and ongoing programming throughout the evening while mixing with staff and guests over FREE drinks!

Join us for a discussion on the importance and impact of immigration to the tech community with:

Hear the oral history and narratives of immigration in the United States featuring local actors and affected community members.

Featured readers include Angie Gontaruk, FWD.us Innovation Council member, Angeles Roy, Immigrant Rights Commission member, and Clementine Ntshaykolo, Co-Director of the African Advocacy Network.

Know Your Rights Training by Immigrant Legal Resource Center Attorney (Lunch Provided!)

Children’s Immigrant Heritage Month Mural Making

Local artists and community members paint their immigrant heritage. We welcome all to come showcase their artistic talents!

Taste of San Francisco with La Cochina Collective, Refinery 29 Film Screening + Live DJ!

Enjoy a plate of immigrant inspired foods and films. See a series of short films focused on immigration curated by Refinery 29. A Q&A will follow the screening, Films featured include: Free the Birds, Halmoni, and Harvesting Hope.

Stay late and join us for a night of internal sounds by a guest DJ!
