Officially, the World Cup begins this Thursday at 8 am , offering 64 games, where most matches start early at around 5 am. Russia, the host country, will be the first country to compete vs. Saudi Arabia. (they are the 2 lowest scoring teams right now).

Telemundo Deportes has exclusive Spanish broadcasting rights. Coverage begins on Thursday’s opener between Russia and Saudi Arabia — along with its sister channel Universo.
They’ll offer more than 1,500 hours of coverage from Russia across all platforms, including more than 500 hours on television and over 1,000 hours across digital.

How did Mexico qualify for 2018 World Cup?
Mexico won through with a 1-0 win over Panama on 1 September 2017. They secured qualification with three matches remaining.
Mexico has only reached the 16th round of the last 6 straight World Cup games.
MEXICO’S NEW JERSEY!
adidas and the Mexican Football Federation revealed the new jersey for Mexico’s National Team, which debuted in-game on March 29, 2016 in their FIFA World Cup™ Qualifier versus Canada.
The jersey features the traditional green colorway with tonal vertical stripes on the front and sleeves. The brand’s three stripes are highlighted in white and are placed on the sides of the jersey for the first time ever in a Mexico National Team jersey. The full uniform includes white shorts and red socks to represent the colors of Mexico’s flag.
