This month we celebrate St. Valentine’s Day with a special live music set of dance-able romantic traditional Tangos by Tango singer Claudio Ortega and guitarist Hugo Wainzinger.

Both born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Tango singer Claudio Ortega and guitarist Hugo Wainzinger bring the intensity and passion of Tango with each song and with each phrase. Despite dating from many decades ago, these songs endure the passage of time with their exquisite poetry surrounding the essential struggles in the human soul. Every 2nd Saturday of the month, CMC and Tango dance faculty member Sonja Riket host a monthly Milonga (Argentine Tango social dance gathering) with a drop-in class and dancing to Tango music from the Golden Era and beyond. This Milonga series will include live music and dance performances by local and international Tango guests. Enjoy dancing in the beautiful Victorian concert hall with smooth wooden floor and outdoor patio.
