7th annual Semana de la Xicanx* Summit from 10am-4pm at the Student Community Center on UC Davis campus.
Our theme is Sacred Like Water: tú eres yo, yo soy tú.
On the week of Feb. 13 – 17, 2017, we will be celebrating the 7th year of Semana de la Xicanx*. Events for this week will be announced soon and will align with Semana’s objectives:
We are seeking a wide range of workshops focused on the connections between water and bodies; resistance; bodies as part of nature and not outside of nature; community interdependence; and much more! The theme was chosen by the planning committee to highlight Flint, Michigan’s inaccessibility to clean water and the No DAPL movement.
