Dia de los Muertos: Memorias

We invite you to join us for an opening reception Oct 14th, from 5-8pm.

Coffee drinks and pan de muerto in the cafe. We also hope to have a blessing and traditional danzantes and a spoken word performance, DJ and light refreshments.

Every year we honor the memory of our loved ones. We celebrate their lives and legacy, not their deaths. We are as a community dealing with the many losses of family and friends both near and far, in all of the recent disasters and recent tragedies. Let’s get together to help each other through this difficult time.

A community altar will be open to the community to place mementos, photos, flowers, etc. in memory of their loved ones.
