Today, Brazil beat Serbia 2-0 [to top the group] and set up a game against Mexico in the round of 16. Sweden beat Mexico 3-0 earlier in the day but the Mexicans advanced despite the loss when South Korea upset defending champion Germany 2-0.

Mexico’s first 3 matches of 2018 World Cup began on June 17th.
Officially the World Cup began last Thursday, June 14th , and will offer 64 games, where most matches start early at around 5 am. Russia, the host country, was be the first country to compete vs. Saudi Arabia. (they are the 2 lowest scoring teams right now).

Mexico won through with a 1-0 win over Panama on 1 September 2017. They secured qualification with three matches remaining.

adidas and the Mexican Football Federation revealed the new jersey for Mexico’s National Team, which debuted in-game on March 29, 2016 in their FIFA World Cup™ Qualifier versus Canada.
The jersey features the traditional green colorway with tonal vertical stripes on the front and sleeves. The brand’s three stripes are highlighted in white and are placed on the sides of the jersey for the first time ever in a Mexico National Team jersey. The full uniform includes white shorts and red socks to represent the colors of Mexico’s flag.
