About Braulio:

 

Braulio Barrera was born in the city of Lima Peru on June 29, 1969.

The singer and songwriter, comes from a family of music artists traditional Peruvian. Braulio began to dabble in salsa in 2002 in Los Angeles California, he recorded a soundtrack for the movie Diarios de un motocyclist, directed by Gustavo Santoalaya, which won the Golden Globe Awards.

He moved to San Francisco in 2011 and there he was singing with the Pacific Mambo orchestra with which he won a Grammy for best Latin album, in the same category with Carlos Vives and Marc Antony.

In 2013 Braulio created his orchestra called Somos el son, with which he was very successful due to the energy and musical quality, playing in the San Francisco Clubs, many festivals and salsa congresses, and released his first salsa album entitled Como te dream, with original songs composed by himself.

Braulio currently does shows for children in various public schools through a program of the San Francisco Symphony.
