The event will feature a conversation and live Q&A with Judge Lina Hidalgo and Hon. Julián Castro moderated by CBS News Contributor Maria Elena Salinas.

Program participants also include Latino Leaders Network Chairman Mickey Ibarra , Texas State Senator Carol Alvarado and emerging Latinx leaders featured in the “Our Stories Move Us Forward: Then, Now & Tomorrow” digital campaign.

At age 27, Hidalgo was elected to be the chief executive of the third-largest county in the U.S., becoming the first Latina to hold that position.
