The Graton Day Labor Center, ALMAS, and Sebastopol Center for the Arts (SCA) present “The Great Tortilla Conspiracy,” a live arts event which will showcase the art of Bay Area artist, Jos Sances, and the powerful work of ALMAS/Graton Day Labor Center.

The Great Tortilla is a political performance group that produces satirical edible art screen-printed with chocolate on tortillas (and enhanced with cheese and salsa). A tongue in cheek homage to the miraculous apparitions of various spiritual figures on various foodstuffs through history, the Great Tortilla Conspiracy embraces the philosophy of “Free food for all,” and so these tortillas are, well, free. Come and get ’em.

Worker Leaders from ALMAS/Graton Day Labor Center are on the frontlines locally and statewide to uplift labor standards, win immigrant rights, and to end the exclusion of domestic workers from health and safety protections.

Come hear their powerful testimonies and learn how you can support their work and take the Fair Care Pledge!
