About above image:

Erick Saucedo’s work creates a re-signification of universal history from materials, appropriate images, and/or personal archive photos in order to make a new discursive approach that produces “narrative” deformations to question the processes that developed current social and cultural contexts, which have a unique conclusion in the alteration and restructuring of collective memory today.

Through painting and drawing, Saucedo proposes a current and retrospective analysis of the history of modernity.
