About Sunday’s game:

The stakes won’t be the same as they were last season when the 49ers (8-3) return to Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday to visit the Eagles (10-1), but the intensity could approach late-January levels.

The San Francisco 49ers made their feelings clear after their 31-7 loss to the Eagles in last season’s NFC Championship Game: They believed they would have beaten Philadelphia if they hadn’t run out of healthy quarterbacks.

The Eagles heard that chatter. And they haven’t forgotten 10 months later.

“It was a lot of boo hoos last year,” Philadelphia pass rusher Haason Reddick said Sunday night on SportsRadio 94WIP in Philadelphia. “A lot of crying. A lot of what if. A lot of this. A lot of that. They get a chance to come back in here.

Line that s— up and prove it again.”
