Hughes felt hard done by in his previous fight in July when he lost a controversial majority decision to George Kambosos Jr, now he looks to put himself back into contention for a world title shot.

Zepeda however will pose a dangerous threat to Hughes with the Mexican winning his last two fights by way of knockout.

Also, on the undercard will be Victor Morales’ and Luis Reynaldo Nunez’s contest for the WBA World Featherweight championship and Floyd Schofield’s and Esteuri Metiver Suero’s bout.
