About! Chicanismo: Children Of The Sun:

We will allow their spirit to guide us through exploring: What is Chicanismo? What resurrects our dignity?

Your words will define the connection to el corazón of a world shaped by Indigenous hands.

This workshop features discussion and opportunities to share your writing, in any genre, created during the workshop. Sample poems and prompts will be provided.

You will find a bridge, acknowledging the fire within our blood. ¡Somos hijos del sol! Join us on this journey through our Chicanismo.” -Jorge Montaño
