Dia De Los Muertos // College of San Mateo
October 29th: 5:00pm – 7:30pm
Location: CSM Lower Quad (near Building 1)
College of San Mateo.
The Latinx Working Group is comprised of students, staff, faculty, and administrators from across different departments who aim to create a welcoming environment for all Latine/a/o students to thrive at CSM.
The purpose of celebrating Día De Los Muertos at the College of San Mateo is to serve not only our community members who celebrate Día De Los Muertos but welcoming those who are looking to make connection to the holiday.
The event’s overall purpose is to offer the community an understanding of the history and traditions of Dia de los Muertos.
This is a time for families to gather to honor and remember their deceased loved ones. It brings an opportunity for our CSM community to have a dedicated time to heal and honor the happiness our departed brought us.
