Enraizando/ Rooting Within: Connecting roots from the Bay Area to Borikén.

Friday & Saturday April 17 & 18 • 7pm.
Bay View Opera House, 4705 3rd St, San Francisco, CA.

Ticket includes Puerto Rican food by Sol Food. Appetizers pre-show and Soup and Tembleque at intermission(Vegan options available).

Events are both April 17 and April 18 starting at 5:30pm (Doors) and ending at 9pm.

About shows:

Enraizar/ Rooting Within featuring work by Shefali Shah and Aguacero is the 2nd weekend of performances of the 20th Annual CubaCaribe Festival.

This will be an evening length performance that highlights the transitional experience and journey of young women facing womanhood through Puerto Rican Bomba music and dance.

This piece was commissioned by CubaCaribe from the Gerbode Foundation and funded in part by The Kenneth Rainin Foundation, Zellerbach Family Foundation, Sol Food, and individual donors.

Tickets are general admission
