On behalf of Stanford Graduate School of Business and the Latino Business Action Network (LBAN), the Stanford Latino Entrepreneurship Initiative (SLEI) is pleased to invite you to join us for the 8th Annual State of Latino Entrepreneurship (SOLE) Summit on Thursday, February 16, from 12:30pm – 5:00pm PT, followed by a Gala celebration dinner at 5:30pm, where we will recognize Stanford Professor Emeritus Porras’ vision and leadership.

Registration is required: Attending the SOLE Summit including research presentation, open networking, and panel discussions is free, but registration is required at the “Get tickets” link.

Important: To attend the gala dinner, you must also purchase a Gala ticket at the “Get tickets” link, in addition to the “Free” ticket for the SOLE Summit.

About The SOLE Summit and Gala dinner:

The SOLE Summit is the signature research event for Latino entrepreneurship. Join us in person or virtually to learn about the latest research findings from the 2022 annual survey as we explore financing trends, access to government and corporate contracts, and marketing strategies. We will host panel discussions for our in-person attendees to facilitate a deeper conversation on the research findings, followed by a reception and Gala dinner. This is the 10th anniversary of LBAN and the partnership with Stanford. At the Gala dinner we will recognize Stanford Professor Emeritus, Jerry Porras and LBAN Founder, for his vision and leadership.

1:00pm – 3:15pm Research Presentation (free ticket, in-person/virtual)

3:15pm – 4:00pm Open Networking (free ticket, in-person)

Is there a deadline to register for the events?

The SOLE Summit and the gala dinner are capacity constrained. Please register and get your tickets as soon as possible, so you do not miss out, especially for the gala dinner since that will sell out sooner.

Where will the events take place?

The research presentation will take place on Stanford’s Graduate School of Business (GSB) campus and be made available via a livestream. Open networking events and panel discussions will take place at Stanford GSB. The reception and gala will take place at the Palo Alto Crowne Plaza Hotel.

Is there a hotel discount?

LBAN has secured discounted rooms at the Crowne Plaza Palo Alto Hotel. It is located about 3 miles away from Stanford and will be the location of our SOLE Gala Celebration. To guarantee our special price of $169/night, please book your reservations by 3:00 PM on Wednesday, February 8th. Discount is applicable for the following nights: Feb. 15 & Feb. 16. What COVID-19 safety measures will be in place for the event?

By registering for this event, you agree to follow all Stanford University, Santa Clara County, and California State COVID-19 guidelines. Future public health restrictions may necessitate the postponement of the event. What is the refund policy?

Upon request, we will issue full refunds for event tickets purchased before February 8th.

We strongly encourage you to consider booking transportation and accommodations that are flexible and refundable since LBAN is not able to help cover the costs of non-refundable expenses related to travel to the event.
