This September 16 we will be offering a 3-week Afro-Peruvian dance workshop with live music.
In this workshop you will learn traditional dance steps for the Festejo rhythm, and a choreography.
This workshop is open to all levels. Youth and adults are welcomed.

The Festejo is the most popular Afro-Peruvian music and dance.
The word Festejo comes from the Spanish word festejar which means to celebrate as it is a joyous music and dance form. As you can see in the video below, the Festejo is characterized by movements of the hips and spine.
We invite you to dance and enjoy the contagious Afro-Peruvian rhythm in our Festejo workshop that begins this Saturday, September 16.
