Sunday April 10th 2016 The bboy Connection season kick off. Our free block party for the 5th year we are back and ready to take over the streets of San Francisco.
As part of the Sunday Streets San Francisco be shut down from all traffic from 11:00AM till 4:00PM location Mission District Valencia & Hill near 21st.. For the 7th year taking over the Mission district in San Francisco.
The Bboy Connection Sunday Streets San Francisco Jam is a live version of Beto “Mooncricket” Lopez documentary film in partnership with the Sunday Streets and the Zulu Nation All Tribes SF. All dance styles including Roller skate dance area.
This is a free event for the community. Free dance classes, dance hip-hop history lessons with performances.
Think of it like interactive broadway in the streets. You get to be a part of it. All styles of dance taught by the bay areas top dancers including some real OGS. Popping, Strutting, locking, Rock Dance, and of course Bboying/Bgirling “Breakdance” classes. Live Graffiti muralist, Writers bench, Tumbling classes and an open roller skate dance area..
The Bboy Connection is teamed up with Universal Zulu Nation All Tribes SF who will be set up with our top DJs spinning the classics in the timeline as the history is performed.
There will be performances from each instructor before each class every top of the hour. Open cyphers for warm up for everyone in between each hour.
The best part and everyone’s favorite moment at our annual event is the KIDS DANCE BATTLE and the female dancers only session and performances.
Roller Skate dance open area for all roller dance skaters and if you want to learn how to dance on your skates we we will teach you.

The Bboy Connection at Sunday Streets is Return of the Cypher – ROTC hosted by Em Cee OrukusaKi & Breathless AKA Honey B. This will be an open mic for anyone who thinks they have the skills to rock the mic. The rules are your lyrics have to be clean and positive. One slip the DJ will blast you with the needle scratch on the record ending your session.
