Colombian singer-songwriter Camilo Echeverry — known mononymously as Camilo — is a Latin pop and urbano artist known for his soprano vocal range. He’s won multiple Latin Grammys and has penned hits for artists such as Mau y Ricky and Sebastián Yatra.
Born in Medellín, Camilo first came to recognition on the talent show “XS Factor,” which he won in 2007, after which he released his first single, “Regálame Tu Corazón.” The following year, Camilo appeared on Colombian telenovelas “Super Pá” and “En los tacones de Eva,” as well as the childrens’ show “Bichos.”

He took a break from music after that but returned a few years later, relocating to Miami and writing songs for other artists, including Becky G and Natti Natasha (“Sin Pijama”), Anitta (“Veneno”), and Sebastian Yatra with Mau y Ricky (“Ya No Tiene Novio”). “Ya No Tiene Novio” became a huge hit in 2018, garnering more than 517 million views on YouTube.
