For over 100 years, San José stood as a center of high quality fruit and vegetable processing. Towards the mid 20th century, Mexican-American and Latin-American women dominated cannery work.

Join Dr. Margo McBane and Margarita Garcia M.A., of San José State University to discuss gender, race, and ethnicity roles in the cannery life.
