This year over thirty local organizations will join us at El Parque Ninos Unidos, to participate in a day of festivities promoting literacy, where families will receive free multilingual books, enjoy crafts and children’s performers like Daniel Tiger, and more.

DESCRIPTION:

Be My Neighbor Day brings the beloved worlds of Mr. Rogers to Dia de los Ninos / Dia de los Libros, the long-running celebration of children and books rooted for twenty-five years in the Latinx community of the Mission.

This year over thirty local organizations will join us at El Parque Ninos Unidos, to participate in a day of festivities promoting literacy, where families will receive free multilingual books, enjoy crafts and children’s performers like Daniel Tiger, and more.

About KQED Live:

KQED Live is a new multiplatform event series that brings journalism to life onstage, amplifies local culture and builds community. Hosted in KQED’s newly reimagined San Francisco headquarters, KQED Live makes the mission of public media tangible through affordable and free live programs offered in-person and accessible online.
