Here you will find the most typical Salvadorian foods and products in one location. Live Salvadorian and international bands will make your visit a very enjoyable and an unforgettable one. La Fogata Productions proudly presents its fourth “Festival Gastronomico Salvadoreno 2017 (Salvadorian Food Festival) which celebrates the famous Salvadorian “Fiestas de Agosto” (August Fest).
It is a tribute to the Salvadorian gastronomy and it is the highest concentration of Salvadorian restaurants in one location in Northern California that brings the most exotic specialty dishes, beers and drinks from El Salvador sometimes not found in local restaurants.
Featuring from El Salvador is the world famous “pupusa”, a thick handmade corn flour or rice flour tortilla stuffed with cheese,chicharrón (cooked pork meat ground to a paste consistency), refried beans or loroco (a vine flower bud native to Central America). A sure delicatessen you can’t miss.
Live music featured by Salvadorian famous Orquesta San Vicente, Oro Solido, Aniceto Molina Jr y sus Sabaneros, the famous Salvadorian comedian La Tenchis, Elena Rivera and Fuego Latino, for sure will bring great entertainment to everyone. Also, vendors from El Salvador and other Latin American countries will display their specialty food and products, arts and craft, and typical Salvadorian clothing.
Come and enjoy the “Festival Gastronomico Salvadoreno” on August 13, 2017 which starts at 10am. There will be entertainment for children of ALL ages.
