About play:
This original one act play was written, produced, and will be performed by an amazing ensemble of 5th-8th grade students from Alpha: Blanca Alvarado School’s Drama Club.
After nearly a year of developing this new play, our talented young theatre-makers will finally take the stage at the Mexican Heritage Plaza on April 25th as they share what they’ve learned about Blanca’s activism and how her groundbreaking story has shaped their city, their lives, and the bright futures of those growing up in East San Jose.
Free to the public, but seats must be reserved before 4/25/2023.
