Carne Cruda, Oakland’s favorite Post-Latin Salsa-Core band, will perform at a special free concert at Crab Cove in Alameda California on Friday, July 8th.
Part of the Concerts at the Cove series sponsored by the East Bay Regional Park District and Alameda Rotary Club, the event will feature local food, wine, and beer vendors, activities for kids and families starting at 4:30pm at the Crab Cove Visitor Center, plus a special performance by Carne Cruda from 5:30 to 7:30 as the sun sets over the San Francisco Bay.
Carne Cruda, Oakland’s eclectic Indie-Salsa-Core band, will be debuting their upcoming single “I Love You More Than Tacos,” a summer release on Round Whirled Records. The Spanglish-language Cumbia-Core anthem talks about resisting gentrification with powerful tools like love and tacos. “I want that song played at my wedding! First I need to find a husband,” said one anonymous fan.
The concert is free and guests are encouraged to bring a picnic blanket or lawn chairs, pack a snack, and enjoy local food, beer, and wine vendors. This event is all-ages, free, and wheelchair-accessible.
