Make sure they don’t miss our Intro to Teatro class! In this bilingual class, children will develop acting skills through explorations of their own experiences, perspectives, and hopes. July 17-29, Mondays, Tuesdays, and Saturdays.

This summer, we’re excited to offer our Intro to Teatro class for youth ages 10-14 again!
In our bilingual Intro to Teatro class, children will develop acting skills through explorations of their own experiences, perspectives, and hopes.
The six-session course is this month only, July 17-29, on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Saturdays. Classes are located at the Alum Rock Library Community Room.
Your young teatristas will train with acclaimed actor Ricardo Cortés, who appeared in Macario, Miss You Like Hell, and Don Quixote this year.
This is a wonderful opportunity for youth to embark on an exciting journey in teatro!

Our classes identify and train new “teatristas” — skilled artists who are committed to culture-based, bilingual theater.
This innovative training program inspires students of all ages to find their voice, building the self-confidence and initiative to take on leadership roles in their community.
There are also opportunities for students to audition for roles in Teatro Visión stage productions.
