La Cocina presents El Mercado, a one-of-a-kind holiday market on December 11th from 11am – 8pm.

For one Sunday this December, La Cocina will be transforming The Women’s Building into a holiday pop-up bazaar showcasing over 20 food vendors and DIY artisans products. El Mercado will celebrate the small businesses that underpin our economy and be a one stop shop for natives and tourists alike to find the perfect holiday gift.
Tamalada (Tamale Making Party): 10 am – 2:00pm *Ticketed Event*
Join us for one or all three sessions of tamale cooking classes with a few different La Cocina entrepreneurs. There will be classes running simultaneously with approximately 40 people in each class. 6 classes total. Class times: 10-11am, 11:30am-12:30pm, 1-2pm.
OPEN “Holiday Faire” Marketplace:11-8pm
La Cocina entrepreneurs and other local artisans will be selling their very own local, handcrafted products. Vendor lineup is still yet to be released but you can expect to see some of our La Cocina favorites like Kika’s Treats and Neo Cocoa.
Themed Cocktail Reception: 6-8pm *Purchase your $50 VIP all you can eat and drink ticket or join for free and purchase food/drink separately*
End your night off right with a cocktail reception featuring music, festive drinks and La Cocina female entrepreneurs serving their own take on traditional holiday bites!
