La Posarela is a musical play by Carlos Baron that celebrates Christmas by combining two Mexican traditions:
Las Posadas and Las Pastorelas. It examines contemporary issues afflicting and concerning our communities, such as immigration and gentrification, in a fresh and exciting way. This lively show is a great time for people of all ages.
Originally, La Posarela was a production that involved students and teachers from several classes of San Francisco’s Community Music Center, as well as members of the community, professional actors and musicians.
