Farmworkers are the backbone of our food supply chain, as they are responsible for planting, raising, harvesting, and packing our fruits and vegetables. They are also critical in the production of dairy and meat, meaning all the food you eat daily is in some way connected to a farmworker!
When the COVID-19 pandemic paused our lives in 2020, we saw firsthand how farmworkers kept our grocery stores stocked with the help of others in the food supply chain. Through good times and hard times, their tireless work ensures the steady flow of goods from the farm to the market floor.

2. Los Cenzontles show:
- Los Cenzontles โboth honors and upends traditional Mexican music, tapping deep roots as it flowers into something completely new, and distinctly American.โ โ The New York Times
Los Cenzontles (Nahuatl for โThe Mockingbirdsโ) dig deep into Latino traditions to promote dignity, pride, and cultural understanding. The group has pioneered revivals of Mexican roots music in California, bringing traditions to new generations.
The Mockingbirds now create a powerful new hybrid sound โ creating a fresh Chicano voice for a new generation.
3. More music!
