A contemporary proposal of Afro-Peruvian music
Huarango is a musical project born in the city of Oakland, California, based in Afro-Peruvian musical roots and the cultural heritage of its people.
Huarango has the purpose of being an agent of diffusion of Afro-Peruvian culture in the San Francisco Bay Area, and in all the spaces where we can take our music.
This group is led by Pierr Padilla (Peru), musician, dancer and actor, and composed of Javier Trujillo (Peru) on guitar and Kyla Danysh (USA) on violin.
