Los Bahianatos specialize in Colombian accordion music including cumbia, vallenato, salsa and música sabanera – with a sprinkling of psychedelic Peruvian chicha thrown in, for good measure.

If you’re a fan of cumbia, vallenato, música sabanera and salsa colombiana, then we have something for you!

Formed in Oakland, California, during the early days of the pandemic, Los Bahianatos remain the premier cumbia and vallenato group en La Bahía. With over 200 performances under our belt, we can’t wait to finally take our sound to Santa Cruz. See you there!

Los Bahianatos is a four-piece band with a small footprint and a big sound, and they are back in Ashkenaz. Get ready for invigorating gritty roots music and popular dance tunes by some of Colombia’s most influential artists of the 20th century such as Andres Landero, Alejo Durán, Calixto Ochoa, Lisandro Meza, Alfredo Gutierrez, Miguel Durán, Romualdo Brito, Enrique Diaz and many more!

Featuring the Bay Area’s hottest CUMBIA band, Los Bahianatos, playing old-time vallanatos, salsa colombianas and dance-crazy cumbias!

Bahianatos plays colombian dance music featuring the button accordion. Cumbia, vallenato, música sabanera and salsa colombiana in the Bay Area.
