In the past week we have witnessed more brown and black lives stolen by the violent police state across the US.
Meanwhile, the rebellious Oaxacan communities & their striking teachers continue to be terrorized, with 14 compañerxs murdered, including 12 in a massacre on June 19th and others in the targeted murdering of radicals, anarchists and anti-capitalists.
With every police killing and murder of black and brown bodies our rage grows and we seek to fight back against racist police. On both sides of the border, the only solution is total resistance.
Along with our rage we also find inspiration by the recent resistance we’ve seen on the streets. From the ongoing strikes and barricades in Oaxaca to the protesters blockading freeways – the Bay Area, Minnesota, Baton Rouge, Atlanta and others have all taken the streets in direct response to killer police. We’re taking to the streets and standing in solidarity with our rebel comrades in OAX and fighting back against the blatant disregard for our lives.
This Friday we’re marching for #AltonSterling, #AnthonyNuñez, #PhilandoCastile, #PedroVillanueva, #DelrawnSmall, #ShannonLabit, #RaulSaavedraVargas, #DylanNoble, #JaiWilliams and all other victims of police murder to show our love for our people and hate for the violent police state.
Join us on Friday, July 15 at 7pm at the 24th St. BART Plaza in San Francisco to mark two months since the strike began as we march in defiance of state repression, in solidarity with our compañerxs on the barricades in Oaxaca and against the systemic murder of black, brown and poor people in the US.
