The group Mission Varrio Project offers the perceptive listener many different styles and textures from the colorful palette of the Clave / World Beat genre to enjoy.
M.V.P. is led by Marcus Lopez , basses composer & Producer .He writes and arranges the music on M.V.P “Soul Criollo” CDs.
Mission Varrio Project core members consists of a group of veteran musicians from the San Francisco Bay Area music scene who have played together separately in the past, but have now collaborated to form Mission Varrio Project.
We combine Latin,R&B, Cuban ,Funk,Rap and Raggae music to give the listener a melodic and dynamic sound.
The wide range of musical styles fused by Mission Varrio Project within the Latin,Cuban ,Funk, R&B, Latin and Clave/World Beat genres sets this group apart from others.
