More:

Oakland Ballet is excited to premier a new performance – a dance and music celebration of the iconic Mexican holiday, Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead)! In Luna Mexicana, a young woman’s dreams revive her relatives and friends who all dance back to life in the forms of teetering skeletons, skirt swishing girls, a high flying “deer dancer,” and a deathly Bride and Groom. This family friendly performance is filled with festive dancing, colorful costumes, and vibrant music including traditional Mexican folk music and witty electronic fusions. Audience members are encouraged to attend in Day of the Dead attire.

Running time is approximately 1 hour with no intermission.
Doors open 60 minutes before show time.
All ages require a ticket.
