Join an evening of Latin music to celebrate the opening of Radium Runway.
Featuring DJ Jose Ruiz (KPFA) and an ensemble led by East Bay percussionist Javier Navarrette.
Free, outdoor performance. There will be limited setting but feel free to bring a comfy camp chair.

“Run run run away to Radium Runway, a seven-week event series that will transform Alameda’s old Naval base into an industrial stage for cultural performances from the likes of Oakland hip-hop orchestra Ensemble Mik Nawooj, salsa percussionist Javier Navarrette, and the Golden Hour Youth Music Festival featuring the Oakland Interfaith Youth Choir.
Some events are free, some are ticketed ($15-$30), but all include a backdrop of stunning city views; grand opening is noon to 3pm and 5:30pm to 8:30pm Saturday; events through Oct. 15. //
