POSADA WEEKEND brings together Latino Small businesses to celebrate culture and community in a 3 day event.
Experience live stage bands, pinatas, arts crafts, poetry, comedy, and Mission District’s tasteful foods! It’s all on 24th street Latino Cultural Corridor, from 24th and South Vanness to 24th and Treat street.
A joint effort between the San Francisco Latino Historical Society, Calle 24 Merchant & Neighborhood Association, San Francisco Heritage and local leaders, advocates are hoping that this declaration will not only help to retain the living culture and history of the neighborhood, but also spur growth, entrepreneurship and well-being within the Latino community.
The Fun schedule:
- Friday night, outside designated local businesses with live music and pinata,
- Saturday night small mom and pop stores will lend their businesses to community groups to create an event in their place of business, and
- Sunday we invite you to shop along 24th street and get to know the local merchants of 24th street.
We begin the weekend of Posadas with friday night, live music at main stage on 24th and South Van ness in front of the House of Breaks under the Carnaval and newly painted Chata Gutierrez Mural.

On Saturday as mentioned above, small mom and pops busnisses will open up there stores to community groups to make an event in thier stores.
