Lemvo, the popular Congo-born musician and singer, returns to the JCC with Makina Loca, the powerhouse band with the driving Afro-Cuban beats and the salsa sets that’ll turn this August night into the family-friendly fiesta to wrap up the summer.
Start the evening at 6:30 with free salsa lessons, then strut your stuff on the outside dance floor, or just sit back, breathe in the fresh air, and enjoy the party and people watching!
The evening is being held outdoors at the Osher Marin JCC aside Marin’s beautiful nature and open space preserve.
Food:
Dinners will be available for purchase on site from El Huarache Loco, and snacks will be available at concession stands. Guests are also invited to bring picnics; however, alcohol and glassware may NOT be carried in.
Drinks:
Beer, wine, and sodas will also available for purchase.
PRICING:
All seating will be General Admission and on the turf.
Children 17 and under are FREE and will not need a ticket.
Bring a blanket or a low-seated, low-backed lawn chair. Chairs not within regulation will be asked to be removed to the outside of the turf area.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event? No, although a photo I.D. will be required to purchase alcoholic beverages.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? Public transportation to our location can be difficult; however, the Center offers free onsite parking, and there is plenty of street parking. Bike racks are also available and located at the front of the building.
What can I bring into the event? Outside food is permitted (however, do NOT bring glass or alcohol). Lawn blankets and/or low-backed lawn chairs are encouraged, and we recommend sweaters and jackets as it can get cool in the evenings.
Prohibited: Alcoholic beverages, smoking, vaping, pets, candles or grills, and anything glass. BAGS WILL BE CHECKED AT THE DOOR.

What is the refund policy? We have a no refund policy, but as a non-profit 501c3 we are able to send you an acknowledgement donation letter for the value of your unused ticket.
