As many of you know our work is focused in the central andes of Peru.
The projects that this fundraiser will be supporting are the following:
Talpunanchicñam ( its time to sow our seeds in Wanca)
which is a native food sovereignty and native language revitalization program with primary school children and their parents.
Kallpay Warmi ( Courageous woman in Quechua)
Which is an annual indigenous festival that honors and celebrates indigenous women that are on the front lines of resistance. Another element is to celebrate ones’ indigenous identity as urban natives.
