Sunday, September 18th, we will be celebrating Corazón De La Mission, a portrait series by LexMex.
This celebration took place last Sunday on 24th Street and Folsom at 5:00PM.
Celebrate members of the community that give Corazón a la Mission!
The 10ft photographs – known as Corazón de la Mission, or “The Heart of the Mission” – first appeared at Folsom and 24th Street last month.

Quote:
“The sun shines brighter for la gente de la Mission. Papa Sol radiates light for our artists and warmth for our dancers. The intoxicating smells of the barrio make us reminisce about many homelands and our shared culture. Finally, you cannot escape the sounds of the calle that can make us rejoice in dance or bring us to prayer with the beat of la Mission’s Corazón.”
